Underground oppression
The chronic mental and physical imbalance of the dominated class led to an extreme shift towards exploring their own resources at their disposal. The first self-feeding machine was invented by the Underworld Expansion Workers when the hunger brought about by heavy labour could not be alleviated by rationing, and self-feeding gradually spread amongst the workers' community.
